Over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries; worked as Expert Scientist and Head of Preclinical Imaging at Discovery Oncology, Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development in Roche Diagnostics Germany; primary focus is the application of different imaging modalities to monitor non-invasively and simultaneously the pharmacokinetics and therapeutic efficacy of new drugs on tumor growth, metastasis and angiogenesis. In addition, quantification of tumor/ inflammatory serum markers and 3-dimensional multispectral fluorescence histology was used as markers of drug efficacy.  Responsible for documentation of preclinical study reports relevant for product development. Prior to joining Roche he worked in the Department of Immunology at the Research Institute of Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, USA.
